The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of the COVID-19 in the country yesterday.

Nigeria had 452 new cases of the virus yesterday. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with- 209 Oyo-67 Delta-37 Ogun-36 FCT-22 Abia-20 Enugu-16 Bauchi-15 Kaduna-8 Ondo-8 Osun-7 Imo-3 Benue-3; and Borno-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 21,371 with 7,338 discharged and 533 deaths.
