Rivers State recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,339 with 7187 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Tuesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 91 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 66, Kwara-12, Rivers-4, Kaduna-3, Oyo-3, Ekiti-1, FCT-1 and Plateau-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 168,000 with 164,405 recovered patients, and 2,122 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
