Rivers State recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,284 with 7157 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recordeded 8 new cases. Akwa Ibom and Rivers State recorded 4 cases each.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,059 with 163,436 recoverd patients, and 2,117 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
