Rivers State recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,329 with 7187 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 75 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 47, Gombe-15, FCT-4, Rivers-4, Kaduna-3 and Ekiti-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,618 with 164,244 recovered patients, and 2,120 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
