Rivers State recorded 0 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 7,334 with 7187 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 56 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 47, FCT-6, Ogun-2 and Gombe-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,859 with 164, 382 recovered patients, and 2,121 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
