Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,335 with 7187 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 50 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 31, Yobe-11, FCT-4, Ogun-3 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,909 with 164,400 recovered patients, and 2,122 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
