Rivers State recorded 0 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state still stands at 6,909 with 6,775 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 48 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 13, Kaduna-7, Nasarawa-7, Kano-6, Kwara-5, Ondo-4, Akwa Ibom-3 and Osun-3.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,641 with 150,466 recovered patients, and 2049 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to take the jab as it is safe and has no side effects.
