Rivers State recorded 76 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 9,441 with 8,121 disischargednd 112 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total Nigeria recorded 388 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 166, Akwa Ibom-89, Rivers-76, Oyo-15, Edo-12, Benue-11, Delta-7, FCT-4,Ogun-4, Kaduna-2, Gombe-1 and Nasarawa-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 187,023 with 168,455 recovered patients, and 2,268 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has urged Nigerians to continue to obey all Covid-19 protocols.
