Rivers State recorded 91 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 11,483 with 10,509 discharged and 138 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 387 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 114, Rivers-91, FCT-32, Edo-31, Delta-28, Kwara-20, Bayelsa-18, Akwa Ibom-15, Oyo-10, Osun-8, Gombe-5, Plateau-5, Ekiti-4, Ogun-3, Kano-2 and Kaduna-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 199,538, with 188,427 discharged and 2619 deaths.
Meanwhile, the FG has said that the country would receive another batch of vaccines in the second quarter of next year.
