Rivers State recorded 15 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,695 with 6,325 discharged and 97 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 371 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 102, Enugu-65, Edo-56, FCT-23, Ogun-20, Osun-18, Bayelsa-18, Rivers-15, Kaduna-14, Plateau-10, Oyo-8, Bauchi-7, Kano-5, Delta-4, Nasarawa-3, Niger-2 and Ekiti-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 158,906 with 138,502 recovered patients, and 1,982 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has said that it is working closely with sister agencies like, the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency and NAFDAC, as the #COVID19 vaccine is gradually introduced across states.
