COVID-19: Rivers State Records 19 New Cases

Rivers State recorded 2 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,098 with 6,951 discharged and 101 deaths.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.

In total, Nigeria recorded 37 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 26, Ogun-4, Kaduna-2, Rivers-2, Kwara-2 and Edo-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 164,756 with 154,963 recovered patients, and 2,062 deaths.

The agency has advised Nigerians to continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the vaccine.
