Rivers State recorded 7 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,090 with 6,951 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 35 new Cases. Yobe recorded the highest number with – Lagos-18, Rivers-7, Oyo-6, FCT-2, Ekiti-1 and Kaduna-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 164,719 with 154,926 recovered patients, and 2,062 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue to obey all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the vaccine.
