Rivers State recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,185 with 7040 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 29 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 18 and Rivers 11.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,807 with 156,420 recovered patients, and 2,067 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as their is an emergence of a new variant.
