Rivers State recorded 7 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,131 with 7022 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 28 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with -10, Rivers-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Delta-2, FCT-2 and Kaduna-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,301 with 155,424 recovered patients, and 2,065 deaths.
The agency has said that it will not accept vaccines from unauthorized sources despite its scarcity globally.
