Rivers State recorded 3 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,270 with 7103 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 25 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -10, Taraba-9, Kaduna-3, Rivers-2 and Kwara-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,560 with 159,946 recoverd patients, and 2,099 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a new variant.
