Rivers State recorded 1 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,478 with 6,116 discharged and 94 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 240 new Cases. Anambra recorded the highest number with – 85, Lagos-82, Osun-17, Ogun-10, Kwara-9, FCT-8, Kano-7, Abia-6, Borno-4, Edo-2, Bayelsa-2, Kaduna-2 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 155,657 with 133,768 recovered patients, and 1,907 deaths.
The commission has advised Nigerians to Remember to wash their hands at these critical times and also obey all COVID-19 protocols.
