Rivers State recorded 2 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,418 with 7,268 discharged and 102 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Tuesday.
In total Nigeria recorded 206 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 132, Akwa Ibom-56, Ekiti-5, Delta-3, Rivers-2, Enugu-2, Jigawa-2, Katsina-2, Gombe-1 and FCT-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 169,884 with 164,733 recovered patients, and 2,128 deaths.
The agency has urged Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols.
