Rivers State recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,415 with 7,243 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total Nigeria recorded 203 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 186, Edo-4, Oyo-4, Rivers-4, FCT-3 and Kwara-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 169,532 with 164,699 recovered patients, and 2,127 deaths.
The agency has urged Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 guidelines as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
