Rivers Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,115 with 7006 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 18 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 8, FCT-6, Edo-2, Rivers-1 and Ogun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,199 with 155,371 recovered patients, and 2,063 deaths
The agency has said that it will not accept vaccines from unauthorized sources despite its scarcity globally.
