Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,367 with 7,222 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 161 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with -153, FCT-4, Gombe-2, Oyo-1 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 168,713 with 164,476 recovered patients, and 2,124 deaths.
The agency has urged Nigerians to take the vaccines as it is safe with no side effects.
