Rivers State recorded 34 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 4,910 with 4,084 discharged and 79 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19.
In total, Nigeria recorded 1,430 new cases. Lagos state recorded the highest number with – 744, Plateau-100, Oyo-77, FCT-75, Nasarawa-74, Katsina-48, Edo-42, Kano-41, Enugu-37, Rivers-34, Ogun-33, Kwara-32, Niger-28, Ebonyi-27, Kaduna-26, Borno-12, Yobe-10, Ekiti-5 and Gombe-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 122,966 with 98,359 recovered patients, and 1,507 deaths.
The Commission has urged anyone showing symptoms associated with #COVID19, to self-isolate & take steps to get tested.
