Rivers State recorded 1 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,913 with 6,792 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 129 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 46, Ondo-19, Nasarawa-14, Kaduna-11, Borno-9, Bauchi -8, Akwa Ibom-5, FCT-5, Jigawa-4, Plateau-3, Bayelsa-2, Osun-2 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,891 with 151,648 recovered patients, and 2057 deaths.
Meanwhile, the agency has warned Nigerians to be careful and observe all COVID-19 protocols, as they travel during the Easter period to be with family and friends.
