Rivers State recorded 12 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,351 with 7187 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Wednesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 110 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 88, Rivers-12, Akwa Ibom-4, Jigawa-2, Ogun-2, FCT-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 168,110 with 164,408 recovered patients, and 2,122 deaths.
The agency has urged Nigerians to take the vaccines as it is safe with no side effects.
