Rivers State recorded 2 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 7,325 with 7180 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Tuesday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 11 new cases. Kaduna recorded the highest number of cases with – 3, Oyo-3, Plateau-2, Rivers-2 and Ogun-1
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 167,543 with 163,985 recovered patients, and 2,120 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
