Rivers State recorded 0 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases in the state stands at 7,271 with 7135 discharged and 101 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its official website on Sunday.
In total, Nigeria recordeded 11 new cases. Lagos recorded the highest number of cases with – 9, FCT-1 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 166,767 with 163,096 recoverd patients, and 2,117 deaths.
The agency has warned Nigerians to obey all COVID-19 protocols as there is an emergence of a more deadly variant.
