Rivers State recorded 4 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,909 with 6,767 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 104 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 48, Enugu-16, Kwara-8, Kaduna-6, Plateau-5, Kano-5, Rivers-4, FCT-4, Ogun-4, Edo-2, Ekiti-1 and Katsina-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 162,593 with 150,308 recovered patients, and 2048 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to take the jab as it is safe and has no side effects.
