The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has announced that no police officer should be seen without a face mask, especially while on duty.
Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu disclosed this in an interview today.
He said it is very necessary for officers to protect themselves from the dreaded COVID-19, since they are more at risk of contracting the virus, after health workers.
Adamu said enough Personal Protective Equipments have been provided for officers by donor agencies.
He urged officers to obey all COVID-19, protocols while carrying out their lawful duties.
