Nigeria’s Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
Media aide to Atiku, Paul Ibe disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
The former VP, who is currently on vacation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, had received the first dose of the Vaccine few days go.
He said, “H.E @atiku earlier today took his second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. He had earlier had the first jab on the 6th of January.”
The Pfizer vaccine, according to Its manufacturers is based on mRNA technology. It helps in priming the immune system to mount a protective immune response against the virus.
