Rivers state recorded 119 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,227 with 15,550 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Friday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 352 new cases. Lagos recorded the second highest number with -106, Gombe-50, FCT-36, Delta-16, Kaduna-14, Oyo-5, Taraba-5 and Kano-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 250,361 with 223,495 discharged and 3092 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol.
