Rivers state recorded 66 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 16,380 with 16,037 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Monday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 241 new cases. Taraba recorded the highest number with -98, Rivers-66, Lagos-35, FCT-20, Delta-13, Kwara-3, Abia-2, Nasarawa-2 and Plateau-2.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 252,428 with 227,004 discharged and 3126 deaths.
The NCDC, has warned Nigerians to obey all covid-19 protocol to avoid further spread of the virus.
