A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded a 23-year-old man, identified as Solomon John for three counts bothering on stealing and illegal possession of firearms.
Chief Magistrate Nneka Eze-Obuzor remanded the suspect at the Port Harcourt correctional centre and ordered that his case file be sent for legal advise Thursday.
The suspect was arrested by officers of the Rivers State Police Command. He was allegedly in possession of a toyota car, a Tecno WX4 handset, and large sums of money.
He equally had in his possession anAK47 rifle with five magazines loaded with 33 rounds of short live ammunition.
