Argentine Captain, Lionel Messi is now the most decorated player in football history with 45 trophies following Argentina’s triumph in Sunday’s Copa America final.
The record was initially held by ex-Barcelona teammate Dani Alves (44).
Messi won 35 of his club career titles at Barcelona and six trophies with Argentina, including Copa America 2021 and Copa America 2024.
