Bauchi State Governor and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Bala Mohammed, has vowed that the party’s governors will not tolerate arrogance, impunity, or attempts to divide the party.
Speaking on behalf of the governors at the inauguration of the National Convention Planning Committee on Monday, Mohammed said the PDP Governors are “not cowards” and are ready to confront anyone seeking to obstruct the party’s progress.
He further emphasized that the governors would remain focused and that the party’s convention would go ahead as scheduled, despite recent developments. His statement follows a meeting by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike with his allies, during which they outlined six conditions the PDP leadership must meet to ensure the convention proceeds peacefully.
