Stiff Controversy is now trailing the recent recognition and presentation of staff of office to Ndamzi Nsirim as paramount ruler and Nyenwali of Rumueme Kingdom by Governor Siminalayi Fubara
This is as the Rumueme Council of chiefs and owhor holders said they have rejected the recognition.
In a press briefing at the weekend, the Secretary General, Rumueme Council of Chiefs and Owhor Holders, Sir Faith Anarleuwa Woke described the recognition as a travesty of the culture and tradition of the people adding that Ndamzi Nsirim was never at anytime the paramount ruler of Rumueme kingdom so as to be given a staff of office and recognition by the governor.
He called on governor Fubara to immediately withdraw and reverse the recognition which he said was done in contempt of court.
