Construction of the 50.15km Port Harcourt Ring Road estimated to cost N195 billion naira has commenced.
Some officials of construction giants, Julius Berger were spotted this morning taking measurement of the Iloabuchi axis of the road in Diobu Port Harcourt.
One of the officials said construction of the road has commenced and that payment of compensation would soon begin.
Recall that former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike had few weeks ago flagged off the road which has been tagged the biggest single state government project in the country.
The 50.15km road has varied widths of between 7.6m and 29.2m where there are service lanes with 6 flyovers and one river crossing bridge.
