Vehicular movement and other activities have been paralyzed along the Rumuokoro-Rukpokwu road due to an ongoing protest by commercial drivers over the alleged killing of their member.
The protesting drivers are alleging that their colleague was killed by a yet-to-be-identified taskforce member. The sustained protest today has left many passengers trekking long distances on the busy Rumuokoro-Rukpokwu road.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the Rivers State Police Command nor the Rivers State taskforce on street trading and illegal motor parts has said anything yet.
