Popular Nigerian comedian and motivational speaker KO-Baba, has issued a strong warning to Nigerian youths against the dangers of drug abuse.
Speaking during the Here for Him conference held at the University of Port Harcourt (UniPort), KO-Baba addressed teenagers and students, urging them to steer clear of harmful substances.
“It may seem thrilling or harmless at first, but the truth is: it destroys,” he said. “It gradually eats away at your potential, peace, and purpose.”
He emphasized that drug abuse not only distracts young people from their goals but also damages relationships and diminishes their future prospects.
“No matter how strong you think you are, it eventually leaves you broken, battered, and burdened,” KO-Baba stated.
He urged students to reject temporary escapes that could lead to lasting regrets, encouraging them to “choose clarity over chaos” and embrace a purpose-driven life.
“Say no to drugs. Say yes to becoming all you were born to be,” he concluded.
