The Chief of Air Staff – Hasan Abubakar has ordered an investigation into the helicopter crash at the NAF Base in Port Harcourt few days ago.
Air Marshal Abubakar in a statement when he visited the Base in Port Harcourt, said the investigation would unravel what transpired and help prevent future occurrence.
Abubakar while encouraging the officers urged them to see the setback as a setup for a resilient comeback, channelling efforts towards thwarting the activities of economic saboteurs and countering oil theft.
Recall that an helicopter crash landed shortly after it took off for an operation against illegal oil bunkering in Rivers state on Friday.
The five officers onboard survived and only sustained minor injuries according to a statement from the Force.
