A coalition of 100 civil society organisations under the banner of the Civic Room for Rule of Law has declared support for human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) in his demand for the removal of Rivers State’s Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-ete Ibas (rtd.).
The coalition accused Ibas of flouting presidential directives and undermining the rule of law. Citing the Official Gazette dated March 18, 2025, the groups allege that Ibas has failed to operate in accordance with regulations issued by President Bola Tinubu.
