Members of the Apostolic Church at Nanka street in Diobu, Port Harcourt, were this morning seen thanking God after their pastor’s car which was stolen by unknown gunmen was retrieved by the Police in Rivers State.
One of the church members, in a chat with our correspondent, said since the incident occurred, they have been praying to God, for the car to be found.
According to him, they are excited that God answered their prayers, and had to thank him for the miracle.
He said the miracle is a testament to the fact that God never forsakes his people, as he called on members of the church to always have faith in God.
Meanwhile, the Pastor, Ezekiel John in a chat with journalists, said his car was robbed at gun point after he had gone to drop tomatoes and pepper for his wife who sells at the market.
This Police this morning announced that the car was retrieved few days ago.
Acting Spokesperson of the Command, DSP Grace Iringe-Koko, who made this known in a statement, said the matter is being investigated.
