The Civil Society Group in Rivers State is set to open an account for financial support from members of the public. The account is meant for the surviving Ikokwu four and family members of slain auto mobile mechanic, Chima Ikwunado.
Chairman of the CSo, Enefaa Georgewill who made this known in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt said, money realised from the willful donations, will be used in assisting the victims and members of late Chima’s family
He confirmed that they have taken the matter to the National Assembly and to other relevant authorities to ensuring that the former E Crack Commander, Benson Adetuyi who charged the victims to court, is prosecuted.
Enefaa Georgewill and his organization have been at the forefront, to ensuring that justice is served on the matter which led to the death of Chima, after he and four others were arrested and tortured by officers of the E crack team domiciled at the mile 1 police station.
