Chairman of Emohua Local Government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd, DSSRS has approved the construction of Onkpova/Mgbere road in Ibaa community, (ward 6) Emohua LGA.
Bright Jossy-Elendu, Chief Press Secretary to to the chairman, made this known in a statement.
He said officials of Emohua local government works department have already been mobilized to site for the commencement of preliminary works on the approved Onkpova / Mgbere road project to be executed by the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd.
He revealed that the road is the 5th in the series of road projects conceived and executed simultaneously by the Emohua government council within the first term of the present administration, in continuation of the infrastructure revolution witnessed across the local government area under the watch of Dr. Chidi Lloyd.
Jossy, added that the commencement of preliminary works on Onkpova/ Mgbere road is in fulfillment of the council chairman’s promise to the people of Ibaa community during his induction into the central bank age grade of Ibaa, which was subsequently reiterated during the conferment of chieftaincy recognition on Dr. Chidi Lloyd as the ‘Eze Ihe 1 of Ibaa’ by the paramount ruler of Uvuahu, HRH Eze Dr. Jonah Wobodo on behalf of Ibaa community in November 2021.
