Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Chidi Lloyd has reacted to the killing of wanted kidnapper, Onuigwe Nwodi and three others by the Police few days ago.
Lloyd, in a statement Today said the killing of the suspected cultists does not signal the end of crime and criminality in the area.
He vowed to clampdown on other kidnappers in the area as his administration is committed to reducing crime and criminality in the area.
He commended the Police over the killing of Nwodi and his gang, and for ensuring security of lives and properties in the area.
Lloyd, called on residents of the area to assist security operatives by providing them with useful information.
The council chair also lifted the ban on motorcycles to alleviate the sufferings of the people.
