Chevron Nigeria Limited has announced that twenty-five percent of its staff will be relieved of their duties.
General Manager Policy, Government and Public Affairs, Esimaje Brikinn made this known in a signed statement.
Esimaje noted that all of their employees will retain their employment until the reorganisation process is completed, as they are currently engaging their workforce to ensure they understand the new development.
“The aim is to have a business that is competitive and have an appropriately sized organisation with improved processes,” he said.
“This will increase efficiency and effectiveness, retain value, reduce cost, and generate more revenue for the federal government of Nigeria,” he added.
