A Staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Port Harcourt, Barnabas Bonwin has been declared missing by the the Rivers State Police Command.
Barnabas who hails from Bodo in Gokana Local Government Area, was on duty when he went missing in Port Harcourt, few days ago. Though his vehicle has been recovered, investigations are currently ongoing to confirm whether it is a case of kidnapping.
Spokesperson of the State Police command, Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a statement in Port Harcourt, yesterday.
“Mr. Barnabas Bonwin was a driver with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Port Harcourt Branch, who was on official assignment with a Toyota Avensis car, Reg. No. RBC 522 TC that was recovered from a canal along the Mummy ‘B’ Road Port Harcourt while he was not found at the scene,” Omoni said.
He called on anyone with useful information as regards his whereabout to report to the nearest Police Station.
