The Court of Arbitration for Sports has cleared Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan of doping charges.
The CAS dismissed the appeal filed by World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) against the decision issued by the World Athletics Disciplinary Tribunal on 17 August 2023, with regards to the Whereabouts charge against Oluwatobiloba “Tobi” Amusan (Nigeria).
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) had charged Amusan for three whereabouts failures. She was subsequently provisionally suspended but cleared by a disciplinary tribunal in a 2-1 verdict.
