Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday launched a fresh verbal attack on former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, over remarks questioning President Bola Tinubu’s competence.
Speaking at an event in Abuja, Wike condemned Amaechi’s reported statement that he declined to support President Tinubu, claiming the President lacked capacity.
“I heard somebody say the other day that he told President Tinubu he wouldn’t support him because he has no capacity. A President who identified me has no capacity? Something must be wrong with you,” Wike said.
This marks the latest in a series of public exchanges between the two political rivals, both of whom are prominent figures from Rivers State.
