The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and hosts Morocco have confirmed the venues for the African Qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Inter-Continental Play-Off Tournament.
According to a statement released on CAF’s official website on Tuesday, the mini-tournament will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from November 13 to 16, 2025. The competition will feature Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and Gabon.
The semi-final fixtures are scheduled for Thursday, November 13, at the El Barid Stadium and the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex. A draw will be conducted on Thursday, October 30, 2025, to determine the venue for each match.
The opening match will see Nigeria take on Gabon at 5:00 p.m., followed by a clash between Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo at 8:00 p.m.
The winner of the mini-tournament will advance to the FIFA Inter-Continental Play-Off Tournament in March 2026, where they will compete for Africa’s 10th and final qualification slot for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
