Richard Nomanzi, a 43-year-old metal scrap dealer, has been discovered dead with multiple knife wounds at his residence in Ogbogoro, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
His body was found on Wednesday after neighbours raised concerns over his sudden disappearance. Residents became alarmed when they noticed a foul odour coming from his apartment and subsequently alerted the police and his relatives.
According to eyewitnesses, neighbours entered his residence and found his lifeless body, prompting them to raise the alarm. Authorities are investigating the incident.
The Police were yet to release an official statement regarding the incident at press time.
