As promised, Burna Boy dropped the visuals for his song, “Way Too Big” off his latest album, TWICE AS TALL today. In less than one hour, the video has already garnered over 70,000 views, an early indication that it might become a fan favourite.
The video, which was directed by the Lagos-Texas-London culture influenced Meji Alabi, in Elanhub’s view is intelligently crafted and a salute to Burna’s ambassodorial deal with STAR. STAR Beer is produced by Nigerian Breweries. The brand has always supported the mega star which explains why Burna self-describes in 1:24 – “I’m the shine shine bobo of Nigerian Breweries”.
The visuals also carry Burna Boy’s signature Alpha Male persona – tough-talking, boxing scenes and an abundance of machoness.
In our view, with this visual, Burna has once more demonstarted why he is Grammy-Worthy.
